Come step behind the scenes of our burgeoning fair trade and organic coffee roasting company, and experience the intricacies of fresh-roasted coffees from around the globe! Every Friday at 2 p.m. we offer a free roastery tour and cupping – the coffee industry's equivalent of a wine tasting. Our head roasters will walk you through the process of how the second largest traded commodity in the world is picked, processed, roasted and evaluated, before leading you on a flavor excursion through our single-origin coffees. A great experience for coffee afficiandos and newbies alike.
We also offer special group tours for schools and organizations, led by Higher Grounds co-founder and owner Chris Treter. An excellent learning opportunity for all ages!
