As grant funding and private donations become more and more difficult to access, our goal is to help your organization develop a program to generate a new revenue stream. Trade for a Change
Trade for a Change participants are earning cash for their program work by selling Higher Grounds fair trade coffees at their holiday bazaars, church meetings, school functions and other events.

Coffees for Change
With each purchase of our Coffees for Change Signature Blend Series, Higher Grounds will donate a portion of the proceeds to worthy initiatives including the promotion of organic agriculture, education about economic justice, protection of bird habitat and indigenous rights and the construction of potable water systems!

Partner Profile
Higher Grounds is proud to participate in the Catholic Relief Services CRS Fair Trade Program, and will donate a percentage of your total purchase to the CRS Fair Trade Fund to support its work with low-income farmers and artisans overseas.

Oromia Photo Project
In collaboration with the Oromia Coffee Farmers Cooperative Union and goNGOgo, Higher Grounds is pleased to take you on a weekly virtual visit to Ethiopia! Visit a Fair Trade Coffee Cooperative with us.

Water for All
With each purchase of the Water Carrier’s Blend, Higher Grounds will give $5.00 to support the construction of sustainable water systems in coffee-growing countries. Partnering with NGOs in coffee growing communities and here in Northern Michigan, Higher Grounds is helping to bring fresh water to those without.
