Positions available. Higher Grounds Trading Co. seeks hard working and outgoing customer-oriented individuals to join our growing team of dedicated coffee professionals.

Opportunities are available to work between both our 806 Red Drive location in the Commons. You do not need to have hospitality experience to apply; we only ask that you are excited to learn new things and provide exceptional service.

Primary Responsibilities:

*Provide top-notch, courteous and responsive service to our guests
*Craft and serve specialty espresso and brewed coffee drinks
*Complete all daily tasks required of the position and maintain a clean and organized work area
*Educate customers about the intricacies of making quality craft beverages and the purpose of our company

Requirements:
*Pleasant and professional disposition with customers and staff 
*Self-directed, organized, have a great attention to detail, and adaptable to an ever-evolving workplace
*A commitment to learning to make the highest quality coffee in Traverse City
*Able to lift up to 30 pounds repeatedly and able to stand, walk, and lift for an entire work day

The ideal candidate will enjoy a fast-paced, energetic workplace and find it unacceptable to be bored at work. Position Compensation: Starting wage of $14/hour + tips.
